into our building is via our side door to the right of the building. The door opens manually in both directions. There is step-free access to the corridor, the toilets (including one accessible toilet), the main meeting room and the library.
A ramp (usually kept near the door to the small meeting room) can be used to provide access to the kitchen (one step up from the corridor) and to the small meeting room (one step up from the kitchen). The door to the small meeting room is narrower than the other doors and may not be suitable for many larger wheelchairs.

None of our internal doors currently comply with the wheelchair access width standards. Most manual and many electric wheelchairs will fit through the door between the corridor and our main meeting room (which also gives access to the library). We are planning to make changes to this door to enable full access for all wheelchairs and mobility scooters. We hope to carry out the necessary works by summer 2026.
A hearing loop is installed in our main meeting room and is always on. To get a good signal, please sit at least 6 inches away from any of the walls.
